WELCOME VISA

I move to the beat of my heart's sound
Each step a dance, my feet on the ground
My legs won't reverse, they only move fast
Each step a sign, forever to last

I scream for help, but it's music to my ears
A ballad of pain, through all my fears
I'm lost in the dance, with no way to escape
Each step a thriller, my heart does ache

We dine in a skull, a cubicle so fine
Eye sockets as cups, shoulder blades as chopsticks divine
I ask for his name, with a cordial tone
He reveals his face, with a sob and a moan

He says "Hello son", with a voice so divine
Like a deity's call, it echoes in my mind
He grants me a visa, with a welcome sign
A portrait of himself, forever to shine

Coincidentally, my travel coincided with a period of fuel scarcity in the country, particularly in Lagos, which led to a surge in transportation costs. However, I was fortunate to encounter favorable circumstances on my way to Bayelsa, my deployment state.
